This woven piece draws inspiration from a traditional Lithuanian fairy tale: "Dangus griuva" ("The Sky is Falling") .
The fairy tale tells the story of a cat who believes the sky is falling when a leaf drops on its head. This leads to a series of misunderstandings and comical situations. The cat runs off to warn other animals about the impending catastrophe it believes is about to happen. As the cat tells its story, more and more animals join, each carrying the same fear based on the misunderstanding. They continue to spread the message, causing increasing chaos among the animals. Ultimately, they discover it was just a leaf that fell, not the sky. The tale concludes with relief among the animals and conveys a lesson about the importance of understanding situations correctly before spreading fear and information.

The artwork was exhibited at Galleri KRAFT in Bergen in 2024.
